CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Boys & Girls Bugaboos (Ages 12-24 months)

This parent-tot class is designed for curious and energetic toddlers.  Parents will have a ball helping their child develop their senses through movement and music!  This is an invaluable opportunity to bond with your child while nurturing a love of exploration and physical activity.  Each class is 30 minutes.

 

Boys & Girls WiggleBugs (Ages 2-3 years)

Parent and child interaction at its’ best.  Come experience the joy of learning with your toddler.  This mildly structured class focuses on cognitive skills as well as fine and gross motor development, and self and environment discovery.  Each class is 45 minutes.

 

Boys & Girls Jitterbugs (Ages 3-4 years)

This class provides students with an opportunity to work with an instructor without Mom and Dad.  Gaining independence at this age is important and doing so in an encouraging environment is a great opportunity to boost a child’s self esteem.  In addition to working on basic gymnastics skills, this class focuses on social skills, such as sharing, helping others and listening politely.  Students are also presented with combinations of skills to learn to improve their memory.

 

Boys & Girls Bouncy Bugs (Ages 4-6 years)

Development of social skills is still of high importance for this age group.  Progressions of challenging skills are introduced on each event (vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline).  With increased attention span and improved strength and flexibility, the focus for this class is on acquiring new gymnastics skills.

 

Girls GymBugs Beginner (Ages 4-6).

This invitation only class focuses on Level 1 gymnastics skills for girls that have demonstrated mastery in Bouncy Bugs.  The class focuses on all four events (vault, bars, beam and floor) in a fun learning environment.

 

Girls GymBugs Advanced Beginner (Ages 4-6)

This invitation only class focuses on Level 2 gymnastics skills for girls that have demonstrated mastery of Level 1 skills.  The class focuses on all four events (vault, bars, beam and floor) in a fun learning environment.

 

Gym Kids Level 1 (Girls Ages 7 & up)

This class focuses on USAG Level 1 skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all four Olympic events and trampoline.

 

Gym Kids Level 2 (Girls Ages 7 & up)

This class focuses on USAG Level 2 skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all four Olympic events and trampoline. Students must achieve mastery of Level 1 skills to advance to Level 2.  New students may schedule an evaluation for proper class placement.

 

Gym Kids Level 3 (Girls Ages 7 & up)

This class focuses on USAG Level 3 skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all four Olympic events and trampoline. Students must achieve mastery of Level 2 skills to advance to Level 3.  New students may schedule an evaluation for proper class placement.

 

Gym Kids Level 4 (Girls Ages 7 & up)

This class focuses on USAG Level 4 skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all four Olympic events and trampoline. Students must achieve mastery of Level 3 skills to advance to Level 4.  New students may schedule an evaluation for proper class placement.

 

FIT KIDS (Girls Ages 7 & up)

This one-hour class focuses on improving overall fitness through strength, conditioning and flexibility training.  This class is highly recommended for those athletes that want a competitive edge in their sport.

 

Boys Gymnastics Preschool (Ages 3-4)

This class focuses on beginner level skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all six Olympic events and trampoline.

 

Boys Gymnastics Intermediate (Ages 6 & up) 

This class is for boys that have mastered beginner level gymnastics skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all six Olympic events and trampoline. Students must achieve mastery of beginner level skills to advance to intermediate.  New students may schedule an evaluation for proper class placement.

 

Boys Gymnastics Advanced (Ages 6 & up)

This class is for boys that have mastered intermediate level gymnastics skills and emphasizes strength, gymnastics technique and presentation on all six Olympic events and trampoline. Students must achieve mastery of intermediate level skills to advance to intermediate.  New students may schedule an evaluation for proper class placement.

 

Boys Crossfit (Ages 6 & up)

This class is designed for those students that want to improve overall fitness through strength, conditioning and flexibility training.  Also incorporates flipping skills on trampoline.  A great opportunity for athletes to gain a competitive edge in their sport.

 

Tumble & Tramp – Beginner/Advanced Beginner – Coed – Ages 1st Grade & Up

Skills learned in tumble and tramp will help athletes gain strength, agility, body control and more.  This class is for students who are new to tumbling or students who are still working on rolls, handstand forward rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, round offs and front and back limbers.  New students may schedule an evaluation for class placement.

 

Tumble & Tramp – Intermediate/Advanced – Coed – Ages 1st Grade & Up

Skills learned in tumble and tramp will help athletes gain strength, agility, body control and more.  This class is for students that have mastered Advanced Beginner Tumble and Tramp skills and focuses on intermediate and advanced level skills, such as front and back walkovers, round-off back handspring(s), standing back handspring, front handspring, front tucks.  Progression will move into more advanced skills based on individual ability.  New students may schedule an evaluation for class placement.
